A Welcome Spring in Downtown Kent

After a protracted winter, which included, dare I say, an Indian Winter, Spring returned. Seemed like everything was ready to flower for the longest time, but the lingering cold kept the colorful heads hidden.  In just a few days, though, bulbs were popping everywhere, and not the kind you had on your old Kodak Instamatic.  Crocuses, daffodils, tulips and forsythia all seemed to jump out of the ground at once like children running outside on the first warm Spring day.
