About The
David Pattee is an ordained minister of the United Church of Christ serving as senior pastor with Kent United Church of Christ since April 2008. His ministry emphasizes Christian disciplines of hospitality, Bible study, generous outreach and service in the community, and lively worship with uplifiting music and thoughtful preaching.
Before coming to Kent, David was vice president of the Chicago Theological Seminary and had served as pastor of UCC congregations in Connecticut and Illinois. A native of Portland, Oregon, graduated from Northwestern University and the Chicago Theological Seminary, David was a missioner with the United Church of Zambia and has travelled widely throughout the U.S. and extensively in southern Africa, the eastern Mediterranean, and southern India.
David and his partner, Andrew Snyder, maintain homes in Kent and in Chicago where Andrew is vice president of the Alexian Brothers Health System.
