About Lisa
Lisa is a graduate student at Kent State University in Biological Sciences graduating with doctor of philosophy soon. She has lived in Kent since 2006, with her husband (a Ph.D. student in history) and six year old son. Lisa has served the Kent and Kent State communities in a number of capacities, from teaching assistant to chair of Kent Environmental Council, and is currently an adjunct professor at Hiram College. Her interests include parenting, ecology and conservation, pedagogy, human rights, and enjoying her adopted home, Kent. She's gone from a get-me-out-of-here high school student in the nineties, to an Ohioan proud of her home and its history, in no small part thanks to the amazing atmosphere that's to be found in Kent.
Her writings can also be found at WanderingWonderment.blogspot.com
