Erin LaBelle, Neighbor

I am a mother, wife, photographer, French teacher, Raw Food enthusiast and Communitarian. This is my second year as a resident of Kent and my first year to live in downtown Kent. I was born in New Orleans, raised in Nashville and have been a bit nomadic since. My family and I have called Pittsburgh, PA, Lexington, KY and Ojai, CA home over the past fourteen years. Our journey brought us to Kent when my husband, David LaBelle, was hired by Kent State to direct the Photojournalism program. I have been a homeschool mama until this year and now enjoy seeing my children thriving in a new community while I appreciate a little quiet time. I love photographing people and hearing their amazing stories! My background is in newspaper photojournalism and I have been freelancing for the past ten years.
