My name is Kyle Nelson, and I'm a student journalist at Kent State. I'm doing a story on code violations in the city of Kent for my computer assisted reporting class, and I saw through your comments on Kent Patch that you're a rental property owner. I was hoping you had a couple minutes to answer a few questions I had. My email is knelson2@kent.edu, and if you have the time I would very much appreciate your assistance. Thank you so much!

Well, I called Dr. Lefton's office and the material on the corner of the chain link fence is down so my tenants can see to the left when pulling out of the driveway. I was told that the houses are going to be torn down this week or next.
I see that Henry Halem, in his letter to the editor in this morning's R-C, thinks the R-C should apologize to it's readers for printing "blatant racist comments" in SoundOff. That one is deserving of some editorial comments re censorship. We will see.

LOL on the vacant house!! Don't worry...I still read the R-C online, so I'm not clueless when I get back to Kent :). Hope your Christmas was merry and best wishes for 2012!

Out of Kent for two weeks? Did you pay your fifty bucks because your house is going to be vacant?! Have a great time wherever you are going. I know you will miss SoundOff while you are gone, but just think of the joy of a marathon read of them all when you return! Merry Christmas!
