The petition states that it can be signed by anyone who lives in Kent or the surrounding area--not just in Kent. This story has been top news in all of Northeast Ohio for several weeks now and many people who don't live in the city of Kent are touched by this issue. So it would have been fine for me to have gotten you petition pages. Every single signature matters.
