A Hudson man is facing a felony charge following an alleged sexual assault at College Towers, a large apartment complex popular with Kent State University students. Christopher D. Moore, 21, of Hudson, was arrested by Kent Police Thursday and charged with sexual battery, a third-degree felony. According to Portage County court records, Moore is being charged with engaging in sexual conduct with a female victim, who is not his spouse, and "whose ability to appraise the nature of, and control, her own conduct is substantially impaired." The sexual battery incident took place on Feb. 12 in apartment 354 E, according to court records. The Rhodes Road apartment complex is within walking distance of several campus residence halls.
