Kent State Names New Business Dean
Deborah F. Spake to lead business college
Deborah F. Spake, Ph.D., has been named the new dean of Kent State University’s College of Business Administration. Spake currently serves as associate dean and professor of marketing at the Mitchell College of Business at the University of South Alabama. Todd Diacon, Kent State’s senior vice president for academic affairs and provost made the announcement today. Spake will join Kent State on Jan. 1, 2013. She replaces Kathryn S. Wilson, Ph.D., who has served as interim dean of the College of Business Administration since Oct. 1, 2011.
