Police Search for Suspects in Tannery Robbery

2 men broke into the Acorn Alley business

Kent Police are looking for two men who broke into The Tannery, an extension of Kent State University, at Acorn Alley this week. Two men pryed open a door at 138 E. Main St. in Acorn Alley at suite 203 and stole two laptops from the business. The break-in took place between 4 p.m. on Oct. 31 and 8 a.m. Nov. 1. The Tannery, part of the College of Communication and Information at Kent State, is a student-run, full-service integrated marketing communications firm that works with clients from around Northeast Ohio, according to the university. Surveillance footage shows two black men leaving Acorn Alley. Anyone with information about the suspects or the burglary can contact Kent police at 330-673-7732.
