What Should Replace TLC Liquor?

Patch's Visions for Vacancies asks for your input on vacant commercial properties

For several weeks now Kent residents on the west side of town have had to buy their hard liquor elsewhere following the closure of TLC Liquor on West Main Street. Dennis Ginty, Deputy Communications Director for the Ohio Department of Commerce, said in an email TLC Liquor transferred its contract liquor agency permit to Giant Eagle, at 4300 Kent Road in Stow, OH, on Oct. 31. "TLC still has retail permits to sell carryout beer (C1 permit), carryout wine and mixed beverages (C2 permit), and tasting privileges which allow them to sell 2-ounce samples of beer, wine and mixed beverages (D8 permit)," Ginty said.
