New Downtown Stores get Building Permits
UniversiTEES, Gracylane, Panini's, Insomnia Cookies and Diversa get OK to finish spaces in downtown redevelopment projects
A whole host of new businesses just got the OK to move into new spaces among downtown Kent's redevelopment projects. The city issued building permits for finishing work recently for four new businesses and one Kent firm that's relocating into the redevelopment section of downtown. The businesses and building permits are: Except for Diversa, a Kent-based advertising firm, all the projects are going into the city and Fairmount Properties' new buildings on Erie and South Water streets. Insomnia Cookies offers online ordering and delivery of — you guessed it — cookies.
