Franklin Elementary Finalist in Glidden Paint Contest
School could win up to 200 gallons in paint for makeover
Kent parents can help repaint Franklin Elementary School with a simple click of their computer mouse. Glidden Paint selected the Kent elementary school out of several hundred nominations to be in its top five for Glidden's "Colorful Classrooms Contest." Voting starts online Monday. If Franklin Elementary wins, the school could get up to 200 gallons of paint applied to walls inside the building completely free of charge. Todd Poole, principal at Franklin Elementary, said the building is the oldest in the school district that hasn't seen a renovation.
