Readers of Kent Patch get a lot of say as to what stories are the most popular or the biggest news in Kent. You got the chance to submit your suggestions for the biggest news stories of the year. We picked the top 10 stories of the year based on what stories got the most views — in this case, each story in the top 10 got thousands of reads each. As editor of Kent Patch I wanted to throw in my two cents, so I chose seven stories that I think were the biggest stories in Kent for 2011 for a number of reasons.
