Dennis Haworth charged by drug task force with making methamphetamine near a school
A Kent man has been charged with making methamphetamine near a school by the Portage County Drug Task Force. Dennis Haworth, 43, of 525 Park Ave., was arrested Friday by the task force on charges of illegal manufacturing of methamphetamine, a first-degree felony, according to the Portage County Sheriff's Office. Haworth was arrested in Ravenna, OH along with Christina Guy, 36, who also is a Ravenna resident, at 115 N. Scranton St., Ravenna, where the manufacturing took place, according to the sheriff's office. Drug task force agents arrested Haworth as part of a four-month investigation into Guy's actions that culminated with a warrant for her arrest for “Prohibition Concerning the Purchasing of Pseudoephedrine,” an ingredient in …
