Police Blotter: Diamond Earrings Stolen; Robbery Arrest

Robbery charge for Elyria man An Elyria man was indicted by a Portage County grand jury Thursday on a third-degree felony robbery charge. Kent police arrested Darrick D. Pou, 37, just after 9 p.m. March 12 for robbing a woman near Franklin Mills River Edge Park. Pou was set to be arraigned on the charge Monday by Portage County Common Pleas Judge Laurie Pittman. Jewelry, electronics, mountain bike stolen One-fourth karrat diamond stud earrings were reported stolen along with several other pairs of earrings from a Kent home on March 14. Residents in the 100 block of Majors Lane reported the earrings stolen along with and iPod docking station, an iPod, a Wii and four controllers, and Xbox 360 with controllers and various games.
