The river is not "closed" at the new bridge, but paddlers are advised to avoid it at highRead More water levels as the temporary construction bridge (causeway) across the river creates some artificial rapids. This causeway will be removed this summer to restore the river to a more natural flow there.

Of course, then again, the "oldtime music" that is played at Gyro every first Sunday of the month kept me from going to my favorite watering hole because they play the same set of "songs" every time.
