I must say after speaking with you on the phone Saturday, I am very disappointed to see your review with such bias and insulting remarks. Let's investigate the full reality of your scheduled appointment which resulted a No-Call-No-Show cancellation fee. Your appointment was scheduled on 6/21/12 for a color appointment on early Saturday afternoon, (6/23/12). Kenny follows a strict script when informing clients of the cancellation fee, which is why you were asked to place a valid credit or debit card on your appointment file. This information was given voluntary by yourself to hold the appointment and protect my stylists' time from last minute cancellation. Your appointment time on Saturday came and went with no communication from you. I attempted to contact you via phone 3 different times in the hours after your appointment. At this point, I had no other choice but to enforce the cancellation policy that you were informed of while scheduling your appointment. Because this appointment was not just a cancellation, but a complete no-call-no-show, the full price of the hair service scheduled was applied to the card on file. After speaking with you 6 hours after your appointment, i was very flexible in offering you 50% of the fee towards your next hair service. I think a little perspective here is required to fully understand the detriment of your actions. Hair stylists are commissioned employees at Skullz Salon, we pride ourselves in making careers for them and take their time very seriously. Your color service was scheduled for 2 hours worth of HAYLEY'S time. When you gave no notice of your cancellation, I had ZERO opportunity to re-book her for the time we've reserved for you. Therefore, Hayley would not be paid for 2 hours she was at work. The cancellation fee you were charged goes directly to Hayley to compensate her, for time loss. She is a dedicated young professional who does not deserve to have her time disrespected.

I would have been delighted to change the form of payment of your fee to a different card, had I been able to contact you or at least been informed of when contact would be made. If the card on file was not the appropriate card-- It should not have been given to hold the appointment. I'm not sure where the insults are stemming from, as I was very understanding and flexible once communication was made. You seemed very apologetic and open to the solution of using half of your fee towards your next hair service. Had you expressed any distaste with my suggestion, we could have continued the conservation to find a solution that satisfied both parties. I understand life happens, and when it does a little communication is appreciated. A hair appointment may have not taken priority for you on Saturday, but this is Hayley's livelihood. I assume you would expect your employer to respect you similarly.
