'Cram the Cruiser' Events a Success
Portage County Sheriff's Office helps area food pantries, hot meal sites
During the recent holiday season, Portage County Sheriff David Doak, along with members of his staff, volunteered at two “Cram the Cruiser” events.
One was held at the Kent-Ravenna Wal-Mart and a second at the Ravenna Giant Eagle. In both events, canned goods, non-perishables items, and monetary donations were accepted for the Center of Hope in Ravenna and Kent Social Services.
