County commissioners issue proclamation recognizing Kent State's first-ever College World Series appearance

This afternoon the Portage County Board of Commissioners issued a proclamation in honor of the Golden Flashes upcoming, first-ever appearance in the College World Series.
Portage County Commissioners Maureen Frederick, Tommie Jo Marsilio and Chris Smeiles proclaimed that Saturday, June 16, will be Kent State Baseball Team Day in Portage County.
