Kent Roosevelt Boys' Soccer Team Shuts Out Field for Portage Trail Conference Title

Kent scores four goals on Field's home turf — all in the second half

The first 40 minutes of the Portage Trail Conference high-school boys' soccer title game didn't look promising, as Kent Roosevelt's Boys' Soccer team couldn't earn a single goal.

But then neither could their opponent the Field Falcons.

Then, in the first minute of the second half, Kent senior forward Dean Habeeb cranked up the momentum with one goal, which he followed up 10 minutes later with a second goal. With four minutes left in the game, senior forward Connor Thomas stunned the Falcons with a third goal. And junior defender Logan Scmucker followed three minutes later with a fourth.
