First Ever Golf Scramble Benefits Roosevelt Football

On Tuesday, we told you about how the Kent Roosevelt Football Boosters are in need of sponsors for this season to keep doing all the great things they do for the team.

If you or your business can't become a sponsor, there's another way you can help — provided you like golf.

The 1st Annual Roosevelt Football Golf Scramble is set for Saturday at . Organizers hope to raise $3,000 to support the team via the golf scramble.

An open practice will precede the noon shotgun start so golf scramble participants can meet the 2012 football team. You can enter as an individual, a foursome or to sponsor a hole.
