Tails and Trails -Plum Creek Ramble

Preschoolers and an adult are invited to participate in a series of programs exploring the nature of Kent’s parks. They are free but reservations are suggested. The creek’s singing, monarchs fluttering and caterpillars are crawling so join us for a short stroll at Plum Creek Park while we check out the “natives” along the stream’s edge. The wildflowers have been blooming all summer and are continuing into the autumn with spectacular color and diversity. This natural corridor is perfect for preschoolers to look for critters and enjoy signs of fall.  Cathy Ricks will lead the walk along the restored stream corridor.  Meet at Shelter House # 2 at Plum Creek Park off of Cherry Street. Program will be cancelled in bad weather.
