Love to golf? Want a new car? Wish you could support a local cause while playing a sport you love? Join the $.A.F.E. program for its 2nd annual charity golf tournament “Putting Fore The Future.” The event is open to the public and all proceeds benefit the financial education program of Family & Community Services.

“Putting Fore The Future” will be held on June 24 at the Kent State Golf Course located at 2346 State Route 59 in Kent. The $.A.F.E. Program has partnered with Mark Thomas Ford to give you a chance to win a free 2-year lease for a brand new ford Vehicle! We are holding a Hole-In-One contest the day of the event for participants only. Come out and try for your chance to win this wonderful prize!

Golfers can participate individually for $75 or form a foursome for $240. Organizations and individuals also have the opportunity to sponsor a hole for $125 or donate gifts and prizes for the participants in their name.
The first tee time is at 8:30 a.m. Lunch and dinner are provided. The outing is in a scramble format and there are many opportunities to win great prizes.

$.A.F.E. or Strategies for Attaining Financial Empowerment is a program of Family and Community Services, Inc. The program provides free financial education classes to Ohio residents and strives to build self-sufficiency by providing the knowledge, tools and resources necessary to promote financial stability.
F&CS is one of the largest nonprofit, social service agencies in Northeast Ohio, serving local families since 1941. It provides programs and supportive services to individuals and families in emergency situations and works directly with clients to develop long-term independence and self-reliance.
