Kent State Football National Signing Day Party @ Water Street Tavern

Wednesday, the Kent State football team will introduce its 2012 signing class and the day will culminate with a National Signing Day Event at the Water Street Tavern in downtown Kent from 5-7 p.m.  Kent State sports fans are invited to the special event to hear Coach Hazell and members of the football coaching staff talk all about the newest members of the Kent State family.

All guests who attend will receive a special gift for joining us! One lucky fan will win a Men's Basketball prize pack for the Elitle 8 Anniversary Celebration during the Feb. 18th ESPN BracketBuster game, featuring courtside seats and passes to Flash's Nest.

Season tickets for the 2012 season will be on sale at Water Street.  The Golden Flashes home slate includes MAC opponents Akron, Ohio, Temple and Wesern Michgian along with a non-conference game vs Towson on Thursday, Aug. 30.

Video highlights of Kent State's incoming players for the 2012 season will be playing on the TV screens throughout the event. 

Coach Hazell and his staff will be joined by Kent State radio host Ty Linder and football color analyst Rob Polinsky.  The "Inside Kent State Sports" radio show will air on AM-1350 and will be streamed live on kentstatesports.com from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
