VIDEO: Flash Mob Delights in Downtown Kent

Roosevelt High band members form to promote 2011 Premiere of Bands

Members of the marching band at sprung a flash mob on unsuspecting (and some suspecting) folks in downtown Kent this afternoon.

The students gathered to play tunes and walk throughout downtown to promote the 2011 Premiere of Bands, which is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 17, at 7 p.m. at the high school football stadium.

Students not playing instruments walked with the band and handed out flyers for the event, which will bring together six area high school bands to strut their stuff on the field ahead of the start of football season. Bands to play include Stow, Nordonia, Tallmadge, Cuyahoga Falls and Ravenna.
