Junior class fundraiser pays for prom, trip for seniors and "senior-citizen" prom

The junior class at Theodore Roosevelt High School will hold a silent auction Thursday at the high school to support prom activities in 2013.

The annual auction, from 6:30 to 9 p.m., will feature dozens of items, including: an iPad Mini; a Kindle Fire HD: romantic get-a-ways; a bicycle from Portage Cyclery; professional photography; a 21-inch monitor; an invisible dog fence; mulch, delivered; golf packages; a Theodore Roosevelt quilt; sports memorabilia; permanent make-up; gift certificates; catering services; furniture; create your own T-shirts; and a remote car starter.

Also up for auction is a signed jersey from Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby. The jersey was framed by McKay Bricker Gallery and Framing.
