Kent State University Researchers Mapping Towns Hit by Tornadoes

Teams make computer models and take video that is compared over time with recovery efforts.

Kent State University's Geography department tracks tornado damage by recording and assessing the damage as part of ongoing research so communities have a quicker recovery period.

Adam Cinderich, a doctoral geography student at Kent State, shared more about the process in a YouTube video posted by KentStateTV.
