Kent State Names 8 Semi-Finalists in Architecture College Design Competition
Semi-finalists include firm designing new Kent courthouse
The eight semi-finalists in the design competition for Kent State University's new architecture college have been announced.
The firms are:
- Bialosky + Partners Architects
- Bohlin Cywinski Jackson
- KZF Design
- NBBJ, LLC
- Richard L. Bowen + Associates
- The Collaborative, Inc.
- Westlake Reed Leskosky, Ltd.
- WTW Architects, Inc.
From these eight firms the university will select four finalists, who will be paid a stipend to design a model of their proposed building design for the new architecture college facility.

The four finalists will be chosen in November. The actual design competition for the new $40 million building will start in January 2013.
