Kent State Celebrates Its Employees
University thanks its faculty and staff with two parties on campus this week
Kent State University showed its appreciation for its many employees at an event held in the Kent State Student Center Wednesday afternoon.
The event included snacks, small gifts and even Kent State President Lester Lefton switching roles and working for the employees — mostly taking pictures — during the employee appreciation event.
The university employs about 3,000 people at the Kent campus including professors, administrators, assistants, janitors, grounds crew and students. Two sessions were held Wednesday to try and accomodate all the university's employees.
