Kent Roosevelt Premier of Bands Wednesday Night
Eight local bands show off their fall shows in Kent.
Close to 1,200 high school band members will take the field at Theodore Roosevelt High School tonight for the 2012 Premier of Bands.
The eight marching bands taking part in the first local band show of the year before the start of the fall football season are:
- Theodore Roosevelt Rough Rider Marching Band
- Cuyahoga Falls Tiger Marching Band
- Hudson High School "Swing" Marching Band
- James A. Garfield "Marching Pride" Band
- Ravenna Ravens Marching Band
- Springfield Spartan Marching Band
- Bulldog Marching Band
- Tallmadge Blue Devil Marching Band
Tickets can be bought at the gate for $6 for adults, $4 for children in all grades, and free admission for preschoolers and seniors age 62 and over. For more information, contact Robin Bellinson at 330-990-7487.
