Free Tickets for Seniors to Roosevelt Musical

Free preview performance of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on Thursday, Feb. 28.

Continuing the tradition of inviting senior citizens to a free dress rehearsal, seniors are invited to attend a free preview performance of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on Thursday, Feb. 28, at 6 p.m. at Theodore Roosevelt High School.

No reservations are necessary.

Other performances will be held on Friday, March 1, and Saturday, March 2, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults and $7 for students and senior citizens.

The family-oriented performance of Andrew Lloyd Weber’s musical is presented by the Roosevelt Drama Guild. It is an uplifting story of the biblical character of Joseph and his struggle to follow his dreams and includes a variety of music, such as calypso, country and rock ‘n roll.

“We encourage all our community members to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” says Kent Superintendent Joe Giancola. “I especially invite our senior citizens to join us on Thursday evening, Feb. 28.”
