Franklin School Needs Your Votes

Kent elementary building in the running for Glidden-sponsored paint makeover

Kent parents have until Oct. 26 to vote for Franklin Elementary School to receive a paint makeover courtesy of Glidden.

The school is one of five finalists Glidden Paint selected out of several hundred nominations for Glidden's "Colorful Classrooms Contest." Glidden received more than 320 nominations from schools in 43 states.

If Franklin Elementary wins, the school could get up to 200 gallons of paint applied to walls inside the building completely free of charge.

As of 2 p.m. Tuesday the school was leading the voting with 33.21 percent of votes.
