Public Health and the Environment

Kent Environmental Council presents a program to which the public is invited, Thursday, March 1, "Public Health and the Environment - Community Networking for a Cause".  Speakers will include Dr. Maggie Stedman-Smith, assistant professor of Environmental Health at the College of Public Health at Kent State University; Amie Cajka, Director of Community Relations of the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Portage County; and Kelly Ferry, executive director of the Haymaker Market.  The public program will begin about 7:15 PM.  The program is preceded by the KEC annual business meeting at 7:00 PM.  There is no charge for admission. Parking is free in the church lot. Interested residents may purchase an annual membership in Kent Environmental Council at the meeting.
