National Network of Embroidery Professionals (NNEP) Adds Trade Show for Apparel Decorators in Huron, Ohio

HURON, OH (February 11, 2012) — The National Network of Professional Embroiderers, NNEP, has added a new event to its trade show lineup for 2012. The Embroidery Trade Show will be held March 30-31 at Sawmill Creek Resort in Huron, Ohio, near Sandusky. This resort, nestled on the shores of Lake Erie, is located on 235 acres and offers restaurants, shops, pools, a beautiful lakefront sand beach, and a 500-acre nature preserve. In other words, when you’re not at the show, it’s a great place to play!

This show will offer the usual strong list of the top embroidery suppliers. It’s a one-stop shopping experience to look for new embroidery equipment, thread, notions, stabilizers, apparel and more. You’ll get to see demos of machines and touch and feel the latest in stabilizers and garments.

Hand in hand with finding supplies you need are the educational opportunities that NNEP events always offer. Seminars on pricing, sales and marketing, and what it takes to succeed as an apparel decorator will be presented by NNEP co-founders Susan Ritchie and Jennifer Cox. For a complete schedule of free classes, visit EmbroideryTradeShow.org/classes/.

Networking is another reason why every embroiderer should attend the Embroidery Trade Show. There will be ample opportunities at the show to give you a chance to meet up with your peers and find out how they are solving the same challenges facing you. Exchange business cards, hook up on Facebook, and make many valuable business contacts that will prove invaluable throughout the year.

On Friday night, NNEP members are invited to a Member’s Only Mixer and S’mores party at the Lodge from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Enjoy the company, campfire and refreshments.

The entry cost is only $10/person. We encourage attendees to register in advance to avoid lines at the start of the show. Register today at www.embroiderytradeshow.org.

NNEP has negotiated special rates for Embroidery Trade Show attendees that start at only $92/night. The Resort offers a full service restaurant, snack bar, and an amazing gift shop housed in a converted barn. Close by is the Kalahari Water Park and an animal safari park. Bring the whole family and make it a vacation weekend. For reservations, visit www.SawmillCreek.com, click on “Make a Reservation,” click on “Group Rates” [Group Id: 856; Password: 1085000782]. If you have trouble making reservations online, call the Resort directly at (800) SAWMILL (729-6455).

New or renewing members of NNEP will be entered in a drawing for a vacation weekend getaway valued at more than $520! Membership also entitles you to member’s only events during the Embroidery Trade Show so consider joining or renewing when you register for the show.
