Introduction to Computers

Introduction to Computers is the first in the 6-week Computer Class at the Kent Free Library.  The series of 6 core classes take attendees from a very basic introduction to computers, through navigating the Internet, and then using Microsoft Word. Each class builds upon the previous classes, and attendees are encouraged to practice new skills between classes.

Introduction to Computers is for those just starting to learn to use a computer or those who aren't sure yet if the computer is for them. Attendees will learn some of the terminology and what they can do on a computer once they're mastered the basics. Attendees will actually get their hands on the computer as they learn and practice with the mouse.
