South DePeyster to Close Starting Sunday

South DePeyster Street will close starting Sunday between Summit Street and Haymaker Parkway for water main construction.

Also, Haymaker Parkway will be reduced to two lanes at South DePeyster Street.

The closure and lane restrictions will start at 4 p.m. Sunday, and both roads will reopen by 6 a.m. the following day. Nightly closures and restrictions will continue Monday, April 23, at 8 p.m. with the roads reopening by 6 a.m. the next day.

Construction is expected to finish by April 28.

Local traffic will be maintained, but city officials recommend local traffic enter and exit South DePeyster from Summit Street. The detour for through traffic will be Summit Street to South Water Street and then Haymaker Parkway.
