UPDATE: Snow Parking Ban Removed

On-street parking was temporarily banned so snowplow crews could clear the city's streets

Kent motorists can once again park on the city's streets.

Kent Service Director Gene Roberts announced this morning the on-street parking ban started Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. is over.

The ban started Tuesday following the overnight snowstorm that dropped several inches on the region and was in place to allow the city's snowplow crews to clear Kent's streets of ice and snow without being impeded by parked cars.
