Kent officials have ordered a snow emergency parking ban prohibiting parking on all city streets due to the on-going snow storm.
The ban took effect at 9:30 a.m. today and will remain in effect until further notice. The on-street parking ban is meant to clear all city streets of parked cars so Kent snow plows can remove ice and snow.
