State Rep. Kathleen Clyde's Listening Tour across Portage County comes to Kent Monday night at chambers.
Clyde launched the countywide, 25-stop tour in July to "better understand the issues that are most important to the people she represents while visiting with them directly in their home communities," according to a press release from her office.
So far, Clyde has stopped in Ravenna, Streetsboro, Randolph, Edinburg and Atwater townships.
Monday's stop in Kent is at 7 p.m. at council chambers, which are located at 325 S. DePeyster St. She will be in Kent again on Wednesday at on Gougler Avenue, again at 7 p.m., to speak to township residents.
Clyde is finishing her first term as state representative for the 68th Ohio House District. In November, she will for the 75th Ohio House District to represent Kent and other parts of Portage County.
