Kent Council Candidate gets Union Endorsements
Labor, communications workers endorse Doria Daniels
Kent resident Doria Daniels has been endorsed by two local unions as she looks to win a seat on Kent City Council in November.
Daniels received the endorsement of the Communication Workers of America Local 4302 and of the Tri-County Regional Labor Council AFL-CIO recently.
Daniels is running as an independent candidate for one of three at-large council seats on the November ballot. She will face incumbent at-large councilmen Roger Sidoti and Michael DeLeone along with Melissa Long on the Nov. 5 ballot.

Daniels said she believes she earned the endorsements for her support of the growth of Kent’s manufacturing sectors.
“I have 30 years hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry from a general labor to logistics planner and ended my career as a consultant designing manufacturing information system for the automotive and aerospace industry,” she said.
