Could not read the letter, however why should Mr. Ruller be credited for hiring the first female chief? Chief Lee was on the department, went through the ranks of the department and scored the highest on the promotional tests. She earned the chief's position. It was not like he went out and found her for the position.

No need to pat anyone on the back yet. Let's see how Kent is doing in 10 years. Hopefully not a town full of empty storefronts. A lot of development doesn't pan out the way it's intended. And of all the things being stuffed into the downtown, where is what Kent needs most? A reliable grocer. And the pdf comes up, but is too small to read or be of any use.

dear computer illiterate patch users, there is a "zoom" button that allows you to change the size of the .pdf font.

Right, the .pdf works fine for me. Click on the magnifying glass with the "+" sign in it to zoom in and enlarge the text.
