$15 Million Kent State Hotel, Conference Center gets OK

New hotel and conference center expected to open by 2013

The builders of the new have the city's approval to start construction.

The city issued a building permit for the more than $15 million project, which will add 95 rooms, a 300-seat banquet center and other amenities to downtown Kent at 215 S. DePeyster St., this month.
