UPDATE: 5 Injured in Rollover Crash at Crain, Lake Intersection

Condition of victims unknown at this time

Five people were injured in a single-car rollover crash at the corner of Crain Avenue and Lake Street in downtown Kent this morning.

The names and conditions of the victims are unknown at this time.

Kent Fire Chief James Williams said one of the five crash victims was trapped underneath the car and had to be extricated by Kent firefighters.

The passengers in the gray Jeep Liberty are believed to be high school students, but that has not yet been confirmed.

Kent police and firefighters are investigating the crash, which happened shortly after 11 a.m. Witnesses reported seeing the Jeep lose control and roll over onto its side in front of the Crain Avenue Bridge.
