Twinsburg Woman Charged with Robbing Pizza Delivery Driver

Kent police arrest suspect on Carlisle Court

A Twinsburg woman has been charged with robbing a Kent pizza delivery driver at gunpoint Thursday night.

Kent police arrested Ashley Tyler, 21, shortly after 11 p.m. Thursday and charged her with aggravated robbery after a pizza delivery driver reported being robbed on Carlisle Court.

According to police, the victim was delivering food to a Carlisle Court address when Tyler approached the victim, flashed a black handgun and robbed the delivery driver outside an apartment building in the 900 block of Carlisle Court.

The victim was unharmed, and the suspect fled with the food. Responding officers canvassed the area and found and arrested Tyler.

Tyler was arraigned on the charges this morning by Portage County Municipal Court Judge Kevin Poland on the felony charge. She has a preliminary hearing set for June 3. Tyler is being held on a $50,000 bond.

What about he victim in this case. Maybe she does have some mental problems but that does not justify what she did. I personally was at the court trial and saw her reactions to the whole situation she seemed to think it was funny. I know the victim personally and they honestly have suffered emotionaly
