Yucky Discovery on a Car


From Fairlawn-Bath Patch:


A woman visiting her brother on Mallard Pond Drive found something really distasteful on her car in the middle of the night.

A report said someone smeared human fecal matter on the windshield.

The prank was discovered about 1 a.m. June 17, when the culprits rang the doorbell and fled. The brother told police he saw at least two kids running away.

Caped Man Causes Stir at Mall

From Strongsville Patch:

A man dressed in a full black cape caught the attention of police at SouthPark Mall about 10 p.m. June 16.

A report said the man was pacing, sweating and acting weird.

He allowed an officer to search him and checked out okay, the report said.

He was at the mall to watch the midnight showing of a Batman movie.

Teen Tries to Steal 108 Beers From Home

A 16-year-old Munroe Falls resident was arrested June 11 after he tried to steal nine cases of Busch Light beer from a residence in the 800 block of Clover Avenue. 

According to the police report, the teen was spotted slipping through an unlocked window of the residence. When police responded, he fled on foot but was snagged by officers.

The teen was charged with burglary, a second-degree felony, and obstructing official police business, a second-degree misdemeanor.
