Legalize drugs? Yeah, that's fine if you want to live in a society of zombies.
arsonists, burglars... what is happening to our little city?
The increase is probably because the university paid more than the propertys would have soId for on the private market in order that it could have it's multi-million dollar esplanade surrounded by a green buffer zone. I am hope they will not do the increase as I will have to raise rents. I don't want to have to do that. My tenants go to school and most of them have part time jobs. They bust their butts. I feel that the welfare of students is more important than a sidewalk. The university and a lot of people in town do not agree. But what do I know. I am just a cranky old man who believes in keeping costs down so that when kids graduate they aren't so far in debt that thay will not be able to buy a house or raise a family.
what would I rather have: affordable rent as a KSU student or a bigger chuck of concrete to walk downtown to stores I can't afford? hmmm Affordable rent it is. You're not a cranky old man at all. FILE THE FORMS.
