Police Blotter: Garage Equipment, Electronics Stolen

The following arrest information was provided by the Kent Police Department. It does not indicate conviction.

Garage raided

More than $1,600 in tools and vehicle equipment was reported stolen from a home in the 600 block of Emich Drive March 2. 

The owners reported the following stolen: a 100,000 BTU torpedo heater; two acetylene torches, two Homelite 14-inch chainsaws; four ATV tires, an ATV exhaust system and an ATV winch; a Stihl 16-inch chainsaw; a black trailer and a Stihl backpack leaf blower.

Electronics stolen

More than $1,000 worth of electronics were reported stolen from a house in the 900 block of Simon Lane Feb 29.

The victims reported stolen: a black Dell 17-inch laptop, a black Sharpe 22-inch TV and a black Vizio 26-inch TV. The electronics were valued at $1,200.

On the same day, about $1,200 in electronics were reported stolen from a house in the 400 block of Cherry St. The victims reported stolen a 32 gigabyte Apple iPod Touch, a Sony Vaio laptop and a digital camera.
