Police Academy to Help 'Fill a Cruiser"
Members to help with police department's annual holiday toy drive
Members of the first ever Kent Citizens Police Academy will help Kent police officers "fill a cruiser" to help families in need this holiday season.
The and Citizens Association will hold its annual Fill-A-Cruiser event on Saturday, Dec. 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at on South Water Street.
The department will be accepting toys, games, non-perishable food items and monetary donations. Proceeds and items collected will go to families in need in the Kent area this holiday season.

If you can't make it to the event Dec. 10, items can be dropped off at the Kent police station before Dec. 10. Contact Kent Police Lt. Bob Treharn at 330-676-7527 for more information.
