Marshals Looking for Jealous Boyfriend Who Stabs, Murders Man

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Vaughn Perry.

Vaughn Perry is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and the East Cleveland Police for murder.

Authorities said Perry killed Maurice "Big Moe" Jackson near the 1800 block of Mount Union Avenue in East Cleveland on July 3. It’s believed that Perry thought his girlfriend was having an affair with Jackson, police said.

Authorities said Perry saw the two walking together and waited in the darkness behind his girlfriend’s residence. When his girlfriend and Jackson appeared, Perry
stabbed and slashed Jackson to death with an unknown sharp instrument, according to a report.

Perry is a 34 year old black male standing approximately 5-feet 9-inches and weights about 190 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Perry is believed to be hiding somewhere in or around Cleveland. Perry also uses the alias, "Mondale Hunter." Perry lived at the Mount Union address but he also has a previous address on Miles near E. 108 Street in Cleveland, police said.
