Kent State Basketball Player Arrested for Burglary

Jarekious D. Bradley charged in altercation with ex-girlfriend

A member of the men's basketball team faces charges of burglary and criminal damaging after an early morning altercation Wednesday with his ex-girlfriend.

Jarekious D. Bradley, 20, of Memphis, TN, has been charged with one count of aggravated burglary, a first-degree felony, and one count of criminal damaging, a second-degree misdemeanor, after barging in to his ex-girlfriend's apartment early Wednesday morning, according to the Portage County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office received a call from Bradley's ex-girlfriend, who authorities did not identify, claiming Bradley forced his way into her apartment and demanded money he said she owed him. Bradley tried to take money from her purse, the pair struggled and the woman was injured.
